Dr. Jeannine Jordan

Dr. Jeannine Jordan is a champion of the organ and its music.  She has traveled through the US and the world promoting and sharing organ music through her concerts, church music ministry, workshops and teaching. She is also the President and founder of Pro-Motion Music
—a company celebrating the world of the organ with its concerts, organ and media events, publications and teaching studios.

Jeannine performs extensively as an organ recitalist concertizing throughout the United States and Europe.  She has also performed in Bulawayo and Harrare, Zimbabwe with the National Orchestra of Zimbabwe, at the American ambassador’s residence in Columbo, Sri Lanka, and in various concert series in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and American Samoa.

Jeannine and her media-artist husband, David, also present two unique organ and media events, From Sea to Shining Sea
and Bach and Sons.  Both performances make use of not only visuals, but real-time camera projections of Dr. Jordan's playing.  The Jordan's innovative performances delight the music-lover, educator, historian and organist of any age and make friends for the organ worldwide.

Dr. Jordan can be heard on eight compact disc recordings:  Bach and Sons
recorded on historic organs of Germany; From Sea to Shining Sea recorded on historic American organs; Music of the Fright and O Beautiful for Spacious Skies with David Jordan, keyboardist; 25th Anniversary Concert Favorites; and three CDs of music for the trumpet and organ combination, Christmas Memories, Thine is the Glory  and Bravo! Baroque!  The Jordans also have also released their From Sea to Shining Sea event on DVD.

Jeannine is also a writer having recently released a book of humorous and poignant stories titled On the Heels of an Organist
(Lulu Press).  She also compiled, edited and published the collection, Early American Organ Solos.

Jeannine has been in church music ministry for over forty years serving congregations in the greater Portland area and in Lincoln City, Oregon. She has presented music workshops around the world for the organist and church musician and has been invited as a clinician and conference organist at worship/music conferences around the US.

Jeannine is married to David Jordan, musician and media artist.  They make their home on the Oregon coast. You may visit us online at
